Catwalking on cobblestone, Williams hypnotized the crowd wearing a custom Balenciaga dress with a silver cape. Four young “ball girls” carrying rackets and wearing white tennis outfits followed behind the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion while a recording of her voice echoed over the music. “I want people to remember me as the girl who changed tennis or just was able to bring something new to the game,” said an 18 year old Williams, taken from a clip of an NBC interview referring to her 2000 Wimbledon match. Other models that walked in the show included Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Irina Shayk. After she walked, Williams secured a front row seat next to Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. Williams played her last tennis match at Flushing Meadows in New York at the U.S. open on Friday, September 2nd. While the tennis did not win that final game, she carries on a legacy unlike any other player in history. Sean Zanni/Getty Images Williams has been cementing her place in the fashion world ever since she stepped on to the world stage. She’s worn looks by the late Virgil Abloh on the court and has stunned in Balenciaga off the court. We can’t wait to see what the next evolution brings for the GOAT.  More News:
