Episode six of ABC’s hit began with men worried about a “blood bath” in the rose ceremony. With seven ladies set to give roses, and 12 men remaining, they mingled at a cocktail party after bidding a fond farewell to BIP veterans Jared and Ashley, who had married after meeting on the show.
What happened between Peter and Brittany on BIP?
Casey schemed to get a rose and wreck Peter’s chances by telling Brittany how he had slammed her after their bad date. Brittany was outraged when Casey told her Peter had told the guys she was a social media “clout chaser.” In an epic confrontation, Brittany accused Peter of trying to kiss her within five minutes, but he called her a “waste of time.” The brunette beauty and her BFFs then asked Peter to leave the show.

Casey, feeling bad about the drama his actions had unleashed, suddenly collapsed on the beach! The others called for a medic as Casey, after coming to, confirmed he had passed out. “I got into a moment where I felt overwhelmed,” he explained to producers and concerned medical staff. “My ankle! That hurts a lot!” Casey shouted as they touched his foot. The competitor was put in an ambulance to be driven away, ending his time on BIP. Before Casey’s departure, Michael assured him that he’d done the right thing in telling Brittany the truth about Peter. A posse of guys then told Peter to leave and he did, yelling, “I’m saying goodbye! The pizza king is out!” Brittany kissed Andrew after the ordeal.

Michael assumed that after recently dumping Sierra, he didn’t have a gal and wouldn’t get a rose. But suddenly, Danielle Maltby, an alum of both The Bachelor and BIP, joined the show. Michael had previously connected with the blonde over social media and was thrilled to see her in person. Bartender Wells Adams had briefly dated Danielle before they both appeared on the ABC reality show franchise. He looked for love on The Bachelorette season 12 and she competed on The Bachelor season 21. Later, they both did BIP season 4. To no one’s surprise, Serene gave her rose to Brandon and their solid relationship continued. Jill chose Jacob, Lace awarded her rose to Rodney, Genevieve picked Aaron, and Shanae said it was a tough decision but went with Logan. Victoria gave her rose to Johnny and Brittany chose Andrew. Danielle held the final rose of the night and handed it to Michael, saying she wanted to get to know him better. That meant James and Justin were sent home.

It was through a drug overdose. And there’s a lot of guilt but like I didn’t really see what he was doing but then there’s also guilt around how happy I am and like this person that I’ve grown into. Like, that wouldn’t have happened if it wouldn’t have been for this tragic event in my past.” Michael replied, “It’s really easy to give up and be sad and it’s way harder to choose happiness and work towards it.” Both conceded they’d put guards up when dating. Danielle said of her fiance’s tragedy, “I found him, I did CPR, I called 911. There was like so much trauma around that situation. That might be why I’m still cautiously entering those (new dating) situations.” She said she was searching for someone “when I wasn’t who I wanted to be yet.” For Michael, her experience touched his heart as he related to people who are “scarred” and “battle-tested.” Danielle made Michael get choked up when she cited the Grace Potter song “Stars” that had the line, “I lit a fire with the love you left behind.” They kissed and Michael wondered if it was the last first date of his life.

Just as many established couples had formed, host Jesse Palmer appeared and lowered the boom! He said their relationships would be tested as the ladies would be leaving Paradise and living on a different Mexican property. Then, five new women appeared to take their places and flirt with the guys! Previous franchise stars Jessenia, Sarah, Kate, Eliza, and Florence from The Bachelor Australia strutted onto the show. The original gals were forced to pack their bags and leave for a week. Genevieve, Jill, and the others were horrified, while Jacob toasted a fresh start with the sexy newcomers. Jill cried that she wanted to get on a flight for home after her beau Jacob hadn’t seemed sad to see her go. But in a preview of Tuesday’s episode, fans learned the original girls would meet a group of new guys as well!
