The Duchess of Cambridge—or the Countess of Strathearn, as she’s known while in Scotland—teamed a royal-blue blazer by Zara with a royal-blue pleated skirt by Hope Fashion for her day of engagements with William. Throw in a handful of gold buttons and you have yourself some serious Princess Diana vibes! Kate also debuted some new sparkly jewlery: the £1395 ($1971) Flora Drop earrings by Hamilton & Smith, which feature two amber-hued gems (citrine and golden quartz) suspended with a petal shape embedded with diamonds. The royal couple met with people who are supported by the charity Turning Point, which aims to address the reasons behind drug and alcohol addictions, as well as paying a visit to Heavy Sound C.I.C., which provides young people in underprivileged areas with a space to explore their creativity. Their visit didn’t end before Kate had a go at sound mixing! That’s right, DJ Catherine was briefly in the house. Briefly because she was, in her husband’s opinion, pretty bad at it. “Please turn that off, it’s hurting my ears,” he said as Kate’s tune looped over a heavy beat. “Delete it, delete it!” Kate said, declining to take pride in her work. The Cambridges mini Scottish tour continues today. It’s expected that they’ll take a trip down memory lane by paying a visit to St Andrews, the university where their love story began—a love story that began 20 years ago, and whose latest chapter saw Kate and William celebrate their ten-year anniversary last month. A post shared by Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (@dukeandduchessofcambridge) It won’t be the only nostalgic return to a special place that the couple has undergone this year. In March they were pictured walking down the aisle of Westminster Abbey together, almost a decade since they were wed there, with Kate wearing an appropriate lacy cream coat for the occasion. Next up, Prince Harry reveals how Meghan shared with him the ‘practicalities of how she was going to end her life" the night they were guests at the Royal Albert Hall.
